Job summary

ThinkTek LLC is seeking an experienced Data Architect / Data Analyst to support enterprise data architecture, governance, and the development of a comprehensive, end-to-end canonical data model across business processes.

The role emphasizes documenting information assets, maintaining a Data Dictionary and RTM, and collaborating with enterprise, solution, and data architects to ensure data definitions align with mission capabilities and performance measures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business/data architecture or related field.
• Experience developing or supporting canonical data models.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, entities, relationships, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience maintaining data dictionaries and requirements traceability matrices.
• Excellent requirements management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, analyze, and document information assets for re-engineered processes.
• Analyze target-state processes to determine information needs at each lifecycle stage.
• Decompose high-level information assets into granular data elements for an end-to-end canonical model.
• Define data-element attributes, relationships, ownership, usage, dependencies, and context.
• Document data flows, interfaces, transformations, dependencies across architecture.
• Maintain traceability between data dictionary entries and related processes, rules, and performance measures.
