Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Data Analytics Engineer for our Lakewood, CO headquarters. Design, build, and optimize enterprise data warehouse models and semantic layers to support regional operations, guest behavior, and revenue analytics.

You will collaborate with analytics and IT to ensure data quality, scalable pipelines, and AI/ML readiness, leveraging EDW, SQL, and PMS data. A quantitative degree and 3–5 years of BI experience are desirable; Colorado Gaming License

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, analytics engineering, or business intelligence engineering.
• Advanced SQL mastery, with ability to write complex analytical queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, dimensional modeling, and enterprise data warehouse infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field or related experience.
• Ability to work from Lakewood, CO with preference for nearby Reno, NV or Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust star-schema data models and SQL views within the Enterprise Data Warehouse to support regional operations.
• Build and optimize semantic layers, metadata, and security models for consistent metrics.
• Consolidate data structures across properties to provide a unified view of performance, guest behavior, and revenue.
• Write clean, well-documented SQL queries to streamline data pipelines and reduce warehouse runtimes.
• Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot data quality issues, and resolve bottlenecks for timely data delivery.
• Prepare data views to feed predictive AI/ML models and collaborate on AI initiatives across the department.
