Job summary

Jobtailor in New York seeks an experienced Enterprise Data & AI Architect to own enterprise-wide, data-driven information systems and drive AI-enabled architecture strategies. You will lead design decisions, align architectures with business goals, and shape roadmaps for scalable data platforms.

The role requires leadership in complex data pipelines, cloud-based analytics, and governance, with hands-on experience in Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, and AWS Cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related technical discipline.
• 10 years leading complex Data Pipeline and Analytics architectures on the cloud.
• 6+ years hands-on data-centric software development on complex architectures.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies including generative AI and model orchestration.
• Experience securing data solutions involving PHI/PII and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own technical solution requirements for enterprise-wide, data-driven information systems.
• Create technical designs, product and vendor selections, application architectures, and technical architectures.
• Provide technology and platform subject matter expertise and lead technical decision processes.
• Own complex technology implementations and reengineer/refactor systems.
• Align technical design and architecture with business growth and direction.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, backlogs, measurable success criteria, and user stories.
• Enhance and maintain systems and solutions architecture for large data processing and reporting systems.
• Design complex data, data-centric applications and Big Data cloud architectures.
