Job summary

City Brewing Company in Irwindale, CA is seeking an Enterprise Cost Accountant (Mid-level Leader) to standardize BOMs, routings, and costing across all locations. You will ensure consistent costing practices and provide SKU-level cost and margin data to leadership.

Partner with plant management, operations, procurement, and finance to support pricing, capital investments, and portfolio strategy while maintaining data integrity and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years cost accounting or manufacturing finance experience.
• Experience with BOMs, routings, and standard costing in ERP/MRP.
• Willingness to travel 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain standardized BOM, routing, and costing structures across locations.
• Own the enterprise standard costing methodology (materials, labor, and overhead absorption) and lead annual standard cost-setting.
• Conduct cross-site audits of BOMs, routings, and cost data to identify inconsistencies and drive corrective action.
• Serve as the enterprise SME and system owner for costing modules within the ERP/MRP platform.
• Develop and enforce costing policies and internal controls for audit readiness and inventory valuation.
• Consolidate SKU- and site-level cost data into a unified enterprise view for leadership.
• Analyze cross-site cost variances to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain enterprise dashboards and standard reporting on cost trends and margin by SKU, site, and brand.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, physical inventory counts, and audit requests requiring consolidated cost data.
