Enterprise Cloud Engineer

The Opportunity:

CCI is seeking an Enterprise Cloud Engineer to join our team on a contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security. As an Enterprise Cloud Engineer, you will support a greenfield effort to establish a new enterprise IT environment for a DHS customer. You will provide technology architectural engineering and support to the Enterprise Cloud Architects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Enterprise frameworks, governance, and tooling.
  • Create and update SOPs and related artifacts.
  • Support planning activities and projects for future initiatives.
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for technology research, selection, development, and implementation.
  • Define requirements for taxonomy, standards, procedures, templates, and tools; develop reference and target architectures, patterns, standards, and capabilities.
  • Lead efforts to develop and maintain engineering assets within the domain.
  • Assist in developing technology architecture roadmaps, adhere to architectural principles and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior business and technology leaders, vendors, and analysts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for long-term technology vision.
  • Implement governance and compliance activities to meet regulatory standards.
  • Build relationships across business, IT, and vendors to leverage emerging technology standards.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD clearance.
  • BA + 8 years’ applicable experience, AA + 10 years’ experience, or 14 years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms, including Hub and spoke architecture.
  • Understanding of Azure PaaS and IaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux.
  • Knowledge of networking technologies, ports, protocols, DNS, IPv4.
  • Understanding of Azure Policy, Monitoring, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, and networking.

Desired:

  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
  • MCSE Certification.
  • Cloud Management certifications.
  • Knowledge of FEAF or DoDAF frameworks and TBM.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

Pay Range

The salary range varies based on factors like location, experience, skills, and certifications. Our benefits include healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, education, and time off. The proposed salary range is: $89,500-$188,000.
