Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an experienced Global Solutions Architect to drive technology strategy for a large enterprise customer in a complex, multi‑faced environment. You will design advanced cloud-based solutions, migrate workloads to the cloud, and partner with AWS teams to craft scalable architectures.

You will engage with senior executives and cloud architects, develop reference architectures, and contribute to best‑practice codification.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of tech domains including software, cloud, infra, security, networking, data & analytics.
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with key Automotive and Manufacturing accounts, acting as the primary technical point of contact and trusted advisor to C-suite, VP-level engineering leaders, and senior technical stakeholders.
• Architect and design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for industry-specific workloads including cloud integration, predictive maintenance, smart factory deployments.
• Bridge IT and OT — connect traditional enterprise IT architectures with operational technology environments on the shop floor, at the edge, leveraging AWS IoT, edge, and hybrid services.
• Lead proof-of-concept engagements and architectural reviews to accelerate customer adoption and de-risk production deployments.
• Influence product roadmaps by partnering with AWS service teams to relay customer requirements and advocate for industry-specific feature development.
• Develop and scale industry thought leadership — create reference architectures, whitepapers, blog posts, and reusable technical assets; present at AWS events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Professional Services, ISV/SI partners, and AWS specialist teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Mentor other Solutions Architects, contributing to technical community development through knowledge sharing and best-practice codification.
