Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking a Solution Architect - Vice President to lead architecture standards and guide enterprise technology initiatives. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and long-term strategy.

The role spans application, data, integration, cloud and platform domains, driving scalability, security and operational excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise/solution architecture or related leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of architecture principles, governance and patterns.
• Experience building roadmaps, standards and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture standards, roadmaps and implementation guidance.
• Evaluate technology solutions to align with enterprise principles and business goals.
• Review designs to ensure scalability, security and maintainability.
• Support modernization, digital transformation and governance processes.
• Provide architecture oversight for application, data, infrastructure, cloud and platforms.
• Identify risks, dependencies and tradeoffs with mitigation guidance.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, assessments and governance.
• Create architecture artifacts including conceptual, logical and physical designs.
• Help define future-state capabilities and roadmaps.
