Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive solutions that align with business needs.
  • Engage in high-level strategic discussions and financial modeling to demonstrate cost and business ROI.
  • Manage and rationalize policy administration and ecosystem.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with executive team leaders.
  • Participate in strategy discussions with SVPs and EVPs, guiding them to the future state.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
  • Extensive experience in solution architecture and portfolio architecture.
  • Proficiency in business analysis and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to engage in executive-level conversations and demonstrate financial modeling.
  • Consulting background is preferred, as it aligns with the company's value in client interactions.

Experience:

  • Senior level with 10+ years of experience for level III focus.
  • Experience in policy administration systems and ecosystem re-evaluation.
  • Background in business or application domain architecture, with a mix of business strategy and application side.

Project Details:

  • IT modernization perspective, addressing key challenges in billing and claims systems.
  • Centralization of marketing efforts impacting various business areas.
  • Continual work on improving the operational model for the organization.
  • Long-term project duration, with flexibility for consulting engagements.

Team Environment:

  • The Enterprise Architecture team consists of 30 architects, including an onshore/offshore generative AI team.
  • Collaboration with Solution Architects specializing in various domains such as life, AD&D, shared services, annuity, and lending systems.
  • The Enterprise Architect will work across multiple groups to drive business strategy and modernization efforts.

Vendor Landscape:

  • Onshore/offshore model mix for cost containment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Insurance experience, preferably as a full-time employee rather than from an agency standpoint.
  • Ability to create synergies from a tech platform perspective and understand product strategies for insurance.

1. Enterprise Architecture: Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
2. Solution Architecture: Ability to design and implement comprehensive solutions that align with business needs.
