Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Enterprise Architect in Washington, DC to establish standards, maintain an architecture repository, and support governance. The role will model data and network architectures across data center and cloud, support ARB facilitation, and prepare executive briefings.

On-site in Washington, DC with government-grade expectations. Candidate must have 5+ years in EA, ArchiMate, and Visio, with willingness to work on a W-2 basis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years performing Enterprise Architecture activities.
• Top Secret Security Clearance desirable but not required; ability to obtain Public Trust.
• Experience with ArchiMate modeling language.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio and architecture modeling.
• Experience leading enterprise-level deployments for cloud/on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and communicate architectural standards and frameworks for adoption within the enterprise.
• Maintain information system artifacts and records within the enterprise architecture repository.
• Perform management and configuration of the enterprise architecture repository system.
• Develop data diagrams and network flow diagrams for technology systems.
• Capture data architecture and integration architecture for data center and cloud solutions.
• Assist architecture and engineering teams with solutioning of technology systems.
• Assist in the facilitation of the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and EA led meetings.
• Manage internal document repository and SharePoint for organization-wide information sharing.
• Create reports and prepare documentation in support of executive briefings.

Our client seeks an Enterprise Architect to establish standards, maintain the enterprise architecture repository, and support architecture governance. The role will create data and network diagrams, capture data and integration architectures across data center and cloud, and assist solution teams. The position will support ARB facilitation, manage internal documentation and SharePoint, and prepare executive-ready reports and briefings.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $80.00 to $90.00/hr. w2

Experience Requirements

• Top Secret Security Clearance desirable but not required. Ability to obtain Public Trust required.
• 5+ years performing Enterprise Architecture activities.
• 5+ years working with Microsoft Visio.
• 5+ years developing business, application, and technology architecture.
• Experience with the ArchiMate modeling language.
• Demonstrated ability utilizing Microsoft Visio by developing architecture models.
• Clear understanding of Enterprise Architecture best practices with ability to communicate them.
• Experience developing documentation, processes, and guidance documents.
• Experience with the systems development life cycle, and program and project management.
• Experience performing as a technical leader on enterprise-level information technology projects.
• Experience leading enterprise-level deployments for cloud and cross-cloud solutions as well as on-prem infrastructure and virtual environments.
• Minimum 5 years of applicable experience and understanding of Federal and private sector technology programs, practices, procedures, and related laws.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with elected officials, senior staff, information systems professionals, and non-technical users.
