Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Applications to oversee Salesforce, Oracle Cloud Financials, and Oracle Cloud HCM.

This on-site role based in Dallas, TX partners with HRIS, Financial Systems, Payroll, and Commercial Operations to align application roadmaps with business priorities. The ideal candidate has 7+ years leading enterprise applications, strong governance experience, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Education in IT, CS, or related field required.
• Certification in Salesforce, Oracle Cloud, PMP, ITIL, Agile preferred.
• 7+ years leading enterprise applications and ERP/HCM/CRM.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional initiatives with vendors/teams.
• Experience aligning roadmaps with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and optimization of enterprise applications including Salesforce, Oracle Cloud Financials, and Oracle Cloud HCM.
• Serve as liaison between Technology and business owners (HRIS, Financial Systems, Payroll).
• Develop and maintain application roadmaps balancing business needs and technical capabilities.
• Oversee integrations, data quality, and cross-system interoperability.
• Establish governance standards for security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate major releases, upgrades, and vendor engagements.
• Provide leadership to internal resources and project teams.
