Job summary

Allen Control Systems (ACS) seeks a Software Engineer I/II to join the Enterprise Applications team in Austin, TX. You will develop, enhance, and support internal and business-facing applications that enable critical operations across the organization.

You will work with engineers and stakeholders to build software solutions, integrate enterprise platforms, troubleshoot issues, and improve existing applications while growing hands-on full-stack capabilities in a fast-moving defense tech

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and modern web technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications across the technology stack.
• Enhance existing applications by adding features and improving performance.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between enterprise applications using APIs.
• Support ERP/workflow platforms and internal business systems.
• Write clean, well-documented code following standards and participate in SDLC activities.
