Job summary

City of Dothan IT is seeking an IT Enterprise Applications Manager to lead a team of application professionals and oversee enterprise software supporting core city operations and public safety.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, governance, and architecture knowledge; oversees lifecycle, upgrades, security, vendor relations, and project management. PMP and CJIS/NIST familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience in IT applications.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architectures and governance.
• Experience managing enterprise-level IT projects and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees implementation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise applications.
• Develops and maintains documentation for administration and authorization of applications.
• Leads a team of application specialists, analysts, and support staff.
• Collaborates with departments to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet needs.
• Assists with RFI/RFP processes, vendor selection, and project budgets.
