Job summary

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking an Enterprise Applications Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for our portfolio of enterprise applications. You’ll own governance, configuration, lifecycle planning, and system integration, partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

This hybrid role is based in Morgantown, West Virginia, requiring in-office work three days a week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or five years of relevant experience in lieu of education, with at least five years in IT operations, coordination, or support; oil and gas experience preferred.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into effective application solutions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems integration, data management, and application configuration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and mentor others.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, security, compliance, and best practices for enterprise apps, access, config management, and data protection.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain enterprise applications to ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Provide advanced application support and troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents.
  • Manage application configuration and change control to ensure integrity and alignment with business needs.
  • Lead lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patches, enhancements, testing, and deployments.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technology solutions.
  • Oversee integrations and data flows between enterprise systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain governance, standards, and best practices for sustainable management.
  • Monitor performance and usage metrics to optimize processes and user experience.
  • Engage with software vendors and service providers on support and roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation via new technologies and automation.

The Opportunity

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking an Enterprise Applications Lead to provide strategic and technical leadership for our portfolio of enterprise applications. You'll own application governance, configuration, lifecycle planning, and system integration, partnering with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys driving process improvements and digital transformation while keeping day‑to‑day systems running smoothly for the people who rely on them.

Location

This is a hybrid position based out of our HQ Office located in Morgantown, West Virginia. You'll be expected to work in the office three days a week.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Administer and maintain enterprise applications to ensure system availability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Provide advanced application support and troubleshooting, resolving complex incidents and coordinating issue resolution with vendors and internal teams.
  • Manage application configuration and change control processes to ensure system integrity, compliance, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Lead application lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patches, enhancements, testing, and deployments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
  • Oversee application integrations and data flows between enterprise systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain application governance, standards, documentation, and best practices to support sustainable system management.
  • Monitor application performance and usage metrics, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, improve user experience, and increase system adoption.
  • Participate in relationships with software vendors and service providers, including support agreements, issue escalation, and product roadmap reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives by evaluating new technologies, automating business processes, and recommending enhancements that support organizational goals.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of education, with a minimum of five years of experience in IT operations, coordination, or support; oil and gas industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application administration, configuration, and support, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and change management processes.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and requirements and translate them into effective application solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems integration, data management, and application configuration.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement timely, effective resolutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, security, compliance, and best practices related to enterprise applications, system access, configuration management, and data protection.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and provide guidance and mentorship in support of organizational and technology goals.
