Your day at NTT DATA

The Enterprise Application Program Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications within an organization. This role requires a diverse set of skills and abilities to effectively navigate the complexities of large-scale projects and ensure their success.

The Enterprise Application Program Manager will collaborate closely with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. They will develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, in coordination with HR and IT teams. The Enterprise Application Program Manager will manage vendor relationships to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget and will monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with HR stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for HRIS projects.
  2. Develop and maintain detailed project plans for HRIS implementations, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations in coordination with HR and IT teams.
  3. Manage HRIS vendors to ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  4. Monitor and report on HRIS project progress to HR and IT stakeholders, including identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  5. Align projects with organizational strategy and ensure efforts contribute to business objectives & goals.
  6. Perform risk management assessments of interdependent projects that may affect the entire program.
  7. Ensure that project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  8. Convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Coordinate and lead project status meetings and provide regular updates to the project steering committee.
  10. Manage change requests and ensure that they are properly documented and approved.
  11. Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business requirements.
  12. Develop and implement a project communication plan that keeps all stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and issues.
  13. Identify and manage dependencies between the migration project and other projects and initiatives within the organization.
  14. Ensure that the migration project is completed in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  15. Provide guidance and support to project team members and stakeholders as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  1. Strong understanding of HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM, including experience with migration projects between these platforms.
  2. Strong understanding of deployment and enhancement projects in HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and others.
  3. Solid understanding of enterprise-level technologies and applications is important.
  4. Excellent project management skills, including experience with HRIS project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  5. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C Suite Executives.
  6. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and lead a cross-functional team.
  7. Experience working with outsourced implementation vendors and managing vendor relationships. The ability to negotiate with and manage vendor relationships is essential for successful project delivery.
  8. Ability to establish and monitor quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and performance metrics.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  10. Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  12. PMP, Prince2 or other relevant project management certification is required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.

At least 10-12 years of experience managing large-scale HRIS projects, including experience with HR system migrations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Primarily walking, sitting, standing, and bending.
  2. Ability to work in confined spaces.
  3. Able to hear and speak on a telephone.
  4. Close visual work on a computer terminal.
  5. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required to operate computer keyboard, mouse, other technical instruments, and for performing cable terminations and testing.

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  1. This position is expected to be remote for the near future with an occasional need to be on-site in a shared work environment.
  2. Extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.
  3. Must be available for 24x7 support of customers and NTT GDC Americas, Inc.
  4. Must be reachable via telephone, text, and email on a 24x7 basis.
  5. 25% travel or as required for training, conferences, vendor and manufacturer visits, quality control, design and build collaboration, and work-assistance at other NTT GDC Americas, Inc. locations. Travel requirements may vary based on the frequency and intensity of remote site operations. Global Travel may be required and must have a valid passport.

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.

NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $128,800 - $191,000.

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
