A leading company is seeking a Remote Enterprise Application Engineer to design and maintain critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with platforms like Salesforce and SAP, along with robust problem-solving skills. As a Remote Enterprise Application Engineer, you will play a central role in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing mission-critical enterprise applications that support core business operations. You'll work across various platforms and technologies to ensure performance, scalability, integration, and security of applications spanning finance, HR, CRM, ERP, data management, and collaboration tools.
This role requires deep technical knowledge of enterprise-grade software, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms, as well as strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. You'll partner with business stakeholders, software vendors, and cross-functional IT teams to implement enhancements, resolve issues, and support long-term digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance, and data platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite, ServiceNow)
Develop application integrations using APIs, middleware, or data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across systems
Support application upgrades, patches, and migrations with minimal business disruption
Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to translate functional requirements into technical specifications
Troubleshoot complex application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes
Monitor application performance, ensure high availability, and optimize usage across the organization
Implement security controls, access governance, and compliance measures in collaboration with InfoSec teams
Contribute to change management, documentation, and training as part of enterprise application lifecycle management
Stay up-to-date with application roadmap updates, emerging technologies, and enterprise architecture standards
Coordinate with external vendors or service providers for third-party support and integration
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
2+ years of experience managing enterprise applications in a complex IT environment
Strong technical understanding of platforms like Salesforce, Workday, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or ServiceNow
Experience with application integration tools and techniques (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP, middleware platforms like MuleSoft or Dell Boomi)
Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), and application monitoring tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional, and fast-paced environment
