Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is offering an Enterprise Analytics Intern role for Summer 2027. The position supports reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights to help leaders make informed decisions.

Interns will gain hands-on experience with enterprise data, analytics tools, and cross-functional teams, building foundational technical and business skills in a collaborative environment. Core in-office days are Tue–Thu with one remote day.

Qualifications

• Field of study: Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Available to work full time during Summer 2027, beginning May 18th.
• Exposure to data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Introductory SQL or querying experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the Enterprise Analytics team in developing analytics solutions including reporting and dashboards.
• Help test and validate reporting solutions for accuracy and readiness.
• Collaborate with analytics, technology, and business partners to translate data requirements into analytic solutions.
• Document processes and procedures to support analytics products.
• Apply data quality and analytics best practices across projects.
• Build foundational data domain knowledge across enterprise functions.
• Independently complete assigned tasks with mentorship from the analytics team.
• Support digital and behavioral analytics initiatives and measurement approaches.
