Job summary

Perplexity AI is hiring an Enterprise Engineering Manager to lead a growing team across the enterprise control plane, data plane, and connector marketplace. You will translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions, shape roadmaps with product and design, and uphold high standards for reliability and security.

The role requires strong technical judgment, product intuition, and proven people leadership to accelerate AI adoption at scale within large organizations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience with AI/ML products, enterprise AI adoption, or scaling enterprise platforms at a startup is a plus.
• Ability to translate enterprise customer needs into clear technical priorities and communicate tradeoffs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team across enterprise areas.
• Set technical direction and guide architecture decisions for the enterprise platform.
• Shape roadmaps with product and design; ensure reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Lead incident response and roll out platform changes and connector migrations safely.
• Partner with sales, customer success, and other engineering teams to remove barriers to adoption.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and mentorship for a rapidly growing team and build scalable interview pipelines.
