Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI/ML Computational Scientist to design, build, and operationalize AI/ML solutions for enterprise clients, combining custom models with cloud and third-party AI services to deliver production-ready outcomes.

You will work across the full solution lifecycle—from assessing client needs to deploying models with DevOps/MLOps, ensuring quality and reliability, and collaborating with business and technical teams at client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; Associate’s degree with minimum 6 years work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist deploying models in production at scale, including monitoring, alerting, and auditing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in applying theoretical foundations of computer science, including computer system architecture and programming.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in distributed computing systems and architecture (big data, HPC, cloud, etc.).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience building and deploying AI/ML-based software to a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate real-world problems into practical, scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Develop and implement ML algorithms, models, and data pipelines for training and production with DevOps & MLOps.
• Customize Deep Learning and Gen AI models for various use cases based on business needs and data availability.
• Engage in R&D of new AI and high-performance compute algorithms and simulations for client use.
• Work with large-scale datasets and preprocessing to ensure high-quality training inputs.
• Implement and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval for models and knowledge.
• Justify the value of model approaches in business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve end-to-end project goals and production integration.
