Job summary

Accenture is seeking an AI/ML Computational Scientist in Albany to design, build, and operationalize enterprise AI/ML solutions. You will combine custom models with cloud services, spanning model selection, training, deployment, and DevOps/MLOps pipelines for production readiness.

You will work across the full lifecycle—from assessing needs and data to model deployment and ongoing monitoring—with a focus on Deep Learning, Generative AI, and large language models. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machine learning engineer or scientist, deploying models in production at scale.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in applying theoretical foundations of CS, including system architecture and programming.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in distributed computing systems and architecture (big data, HPC, cloud).
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in building and deploying AI/ML based software to a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Formulate real-world problems into practical, scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Develop and implement ML algorithms, models, and data pipelines with DevOps/MLOps.
• Customize Deep Learning and Gen AI models for various use cases.
• Engage in R&D of new AI algorithms and simulations for client use cases.
• Work with large-scale datasets and data preprocessing for training/production.
• Implement and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval for models.
• Justify the value of model approaches in business problems.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to achieve end-to-end goals.
