JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks an Applied AI and Machine Learning Lead within Corporate Technology Data Science and AI to design, build, and deploy scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Translate complex needs into production-ready models and intelligent workflows, establishing semantic standards across analytics and AI use cases. You will mentor talent, drive enterprise semantic layering, and partner with stakeholders to meet business objectives in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in data science with eight years of industry experience.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions using Python.
• Production-quality code with documentation and maintainable design patterns.
• Experience building automated tests and CI pipelines.
• Experience building and managing data pipelines and analytics ML workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and metric definition.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across product, engineering, data and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Build generative AI solutions in Python from PoC to production with measurable outcomes.
• Design context engineering for model accuracy, latency and user experience.
• Lead semantic modeling strategy, ontology standards and governance.
• Partner with domain experts to create scalable ontologies of business entities and rules.
• Define semantic integration patterns across data pipelines, APIs and data contracts.
• Establish a unified semantic layer for trusted analytics across BI, ML and transactional systems.
• Enable intelligent workflows and AI agents using ontology-driven context and orchestration.
• Maintain pipelines for model training, evaluation, optimization and ML operations.
• Implement responsible AI practices and governance aligned to regulated environments.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists to raise engineering rigor.
