Job summary

Artifintech seeks a Lead AI/ML Engineer to architect, build, and operationalize AI capabilities that drive decision-making, productivity, and innovation in the Finance organization.

You will lead the development of AI-powered solutions including LLM applications, RAG, intelligent agents, and classification models, collaborating with Finance, Data Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Responsible AI teams to deliver trusted, scalable AI products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Significant software/AI engineering experience.
• Hands-on production deployment of generative AI/LLM apps.
• Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, evaluation, governance.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, data platforms.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, compliance in AI deployments.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design AI solution architectures aligned with business objectives and governance.
• Build and deploy LLM workflows, agent-based solutions, RAG apps, model integrations.
• Develop prompt strategies, grounding, tool-calling patterns, guardrails, fallbacks.
• Partner with Data Engineering for trusted data access.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, datasets, and benchmarks.
• Monitor output quality, latency, cost, and hallucination risk.
• Conduct failures analysis and continuous improvements to AI systems.
• Collaborate with QE, Responsible AI, Security, Privacy, Compliance, EA teams.
• Document AI behavior, controls, and monitoring requirements.
• Support production readiness through observability and drift detection.
