The Forward Deployed AI Engineer role sits at the crossroads of software engineering, AI architecture and consulting, delivering impactful AI solutions and governance across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications using leading LLM platforms.
• Experience developing agentic AI solutions and RAG apps.
• Proficient in Python and modern web development stacks.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand challenges and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Design, build and deploy enterprise-grade AI applications and agentic workflows.
• Lead discovery workshops to identify automation opportunities and define outcomes.
• Architect AI solutions integrating foundation models, data platforms, APIs and orchestration frameworks.
• Design and implement RAG, AI agents, prompts, memory patterns and guardrails.
• Prototype quickly and productionise with governance, observability and security.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, security and executives across the delivery lifecycle.
• Create reusable accelerators, reference architectures and demos.
• Support clients in establishing AI operating models and long-term success.
