Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic customers and deliver production Claude-based AI applications. You will collaborate with customer teams to ship solutions, maintain safety standards, and travel occasionally to sites to drive enterprise adoption.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a technical, customer facing role.
• Production experience with LLMs including advanced prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
• Strong programming skills with Python and shipping production applications.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate across teams.
• Experience with enterprise IT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work within customer systems to build production applications with Claude models, ensuring that these products meet customer requirements.
• Deliver technical artifacts for customers like MCP servers and agent skills for production workflows.
• Provide white glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments.
• Identify repeatable deployment patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering teams.
• Maintain knowledge of latest LLM developments and AI product stacks.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and identify new AI deployment opportunities.
• Travel up to ~25% to customer sites as needed on location.
• Champion Anthropic’s mission in the field.
