County of Ventura is seeking a forward-thinking Enterprise AI & Data Systems Manager to shape how the County evaluates, designs, and responsibly uses AI, automation, analytics, and data technologies. You will lead AI pilots, influence the data strategy, and establish governance, security, and operational standards across the organization.

• Extensive professional level experience in systems design and programming; data architecture. (From Education/Experience section)
• Experience with AI-enabled tools, data platforms, and governance practices.
• Ability to supervise staff and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate AI tools and platforms for alignment with business needs, security, governance, and integration.
• Develop recommendations for architecture, configuration, testing, deployment, and usage of AI-enabled tools and data platforms.
• Design and coordinate AI tests, pilots, and sandbox environments with stakeholders across security, infra, governance, and business units.
• Support AI strategy and roadmap planning, advising on data platform needs, governance, and integration patterns.
• Establish and maintain data repositories, catalogs, dictionaries, metadata directories, and documentation for data systems.
