Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an accomplished Enterprise/Principal Architect in Jersey City to drive target state architecture on a global scale. You will influence strategic decisions, shape technology foundations, and ensure robust, scalable solutions across multiple portfolios with a focus on AI-enabled workflows and strong security controls.

You will lead architecture governance, collaborate with Infrastructure Platform and various business units, and champion reusable frameworks to accelerate

Qualifications

• Formal training and multiple professional-level certifications in AWS and Google Cloud.
• 10+ years of applied experience in senior/lead/principal architect roles.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages, applications, and architecture disciplines.
• Experience leading AI adoption within architecture workflows with data sensitivity in mind.
• Ability to evaluate AI-enabled architectural patterns with clear controls and auditability.
• Proven leadership across functions to deliver modern architecture.
• Cloud-native expertise across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise and lead strategy and development of multiple products and technologies across a portfolio.
• Govern and oversee robust architectural solutions for cross-domain problems, promoting reuse of resources.
• Lead adoption of enterprise AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Translate complex technical issues to leadership to inform decision making on target state architecture.
• Act as liaison between Infrastructure Platform and LoB teams for alignment.
• Drive adoption of technical methods creating reusable software frameworks to improve velocity.
• Establish and lead an architecture governance body.
• Communicate effectively to leadership, management, and teams across the firm.
• Set portfolio-level guardrails for AI-assisted workflows with traceability and security.
