Job summary

Allianz Life is seeking a Principal Enterprise AI Architect to define how AI is applied, governed, and scaled across the enterprise. This individual will partner with the CDAO and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure scalable, secure, and governable AI solutions aligned with risk posture and business strategy.

Responsibilities include defining target-state architectures, developing roadmaps, and establishing patterns for AI deployment across Operations and Digital channels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology strategy or architecture roles.
• 5+ years enterprise/cross-domain experience.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Ability to translate strategy into architecture artifacts.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts including generative AI.
• Experience embedding risk, compliance, security into design.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define AI target-state architectures and roadmaps across business capabilities and platforms.
• Align AI architecture with enterprise data strategy, analytics platforms, governance, and responsible AI standards.
• Develop enterprise AI roadmaps with near-, mid-, and long-term opportunities across operations and digital.
• Establish repeatable AI implementation patterns, including agent orchestration and human-in-the-loop designs.
• Translate business strategies into clear, actionable AI-enabled capabilities from concept to execution readiness.
• Advise domain architects, product leaders, and delivery teams on AI design choices and tradeoffs.
• Ensure AI solutions are grounded in trusted data, reusable platforms, and shared services.
• Embed responsible AI, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance into architecture designs.
• Facilitate cross-functional design sessions to align stakeholders on AI strategy and sequencing.
• Produce executive-ready architectural artifacts, including capability maps and operating model views.
• Utilize artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
