Job summary

Great Dane LLC seeks an AI Architect to define the technical architecture for enterprise AI, ML, and generative AI solutions. You will ensure secure, scalable, governed AI aligned with data and application architectures, partnering with EA, Data Governance, and Dev teams to design production-ready patterns.

You will establish MLOps/LLMOps, document standards, and mentor teams while guiding AI initiatives from proof of concept to production, delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software/data engineering or data science.
• 3+ years architecting and delivering production AI/ML or generative AI solutions.
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise data platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps and cloud AI services (AWS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define the reference architecture for AI/ML and generative AI workloads.
• Ensure AI data is well-governed and accessible.
• Define ontologies and ground LLMs for AI consumption.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate AI/ML platforms and services.
• Establish responsible AI practices with governance and privacy controls.
• Prototype high-value AI use cases and shepherd to production.
• Design MLOps/LLMOps patterns and embed in pipelines.
• Align AI roadmaps with business priorities.
• Provide technical guidance to Development teams.
• Maintain AI architecture documentation and standards.
