Job summary

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is seeking an AI Software Architect to lead the design, development, integration, and governance of AI/ML solutions for federal, military, and commercial programs in Virginia.

You will set enterprise AI architecture standards and guide diverse teams to deliver scalable, secure AI-enabled applications. The role focuses on overseeing cloud deployments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing technical roadmaps for AI modernization while mentoring engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering, system architecture, or enterprise design.
• 5+ years designing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of AI tech including ML, NLP, GenAI, LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise AI architecture frameworks.
• Lead development and integration of AI, ML, GenAI, and LLMs.
• Define system architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies to improve operations and mission outcomes.
• Collaborate across software, data, cybersecurity, and stakeholders.
• Establish governance for AI model development, deployment, monitoring.
• Ensure AI systems meet security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Develop roadmaps and strategies for AI modernization.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews for quality and performance.
• Oversee cloud deployments on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Mentor engineers, architects, and data scientists.
• Support proposal efforts with technical diagrams and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders on AI strategy and plans.
