Erias Ventures in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks an Enterprise - Agile Developer - Testing, Python, CI/CD to modernize a legacy system using a microservices architecture and cutting-edge technologies.

The Developer will build Java Spring Boot microservices, use Python for AWS services, and implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps in a collaborative agile team.

Qualifications

• Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required; candidates cannot be sponsored.
• 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Description

We are seeking an Agile Developer/Automated Test Developer that will take part in modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.The Developer will be responsible for:

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. 9 years or more of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
