DecisionNext’s proprietary SaaS technology combines sophisticated AI with expert human judgment to significantly outperform traditional approaches to commodity transaction decision-making. This scenario-based system, already integrated in the decision-making process at numerous large customers, is delivered as SaaS software with an intuitive user experience. It combines econometric models, Monte Carlo simulation, optimization techniques and extensive automated back-testing in a single application. DecisionNext is in a steep growth phase now in the food, agriculture, and natural resources industries, and is hiring additional AE’s to meet new demand.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven Enterprise Account Executive (AE) to join our team. As an AE, you will be responsible for helping grow the company by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding relationships with existing ones. You will be the primary point of contact for our largest customers, working closely with their executive teams and other key stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide our powerful configured solutions.

In this role you will conduct campaign sales, managing the sales cycle proactively with all relevant parties. You will work closely with our product and services teams to ensure successful delivery of our value adds, as well as to provide ongoing support and relationship management.

Responsibilities:
  • Highest priority is a focus on customer success, vs. sales quota
  • Second highest priority is to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual ARR objectives
  • You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, as their trusted advisor
  • You will work with our Inside Sales team and Marketing to cultivate qualified leads
  • You will also separately prospect and aggressively qualify to develop sales pipeline
  • You will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to make sure we successfully implement and support our customers after the sale
  • You will stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • You will find and build relationships with key industry decision makers
  • You will play a role in recruiting top talent across our organization
Requirements:
  • You have a viewpoint – we work with senior executives and we need to bring them ideas and helpful counsel
  • You have competitive drive and a desire to learn
  • You are very curious, and self motivated
  • You are resilient – this role is very hard. You are looking for an opportunity to prove yourself
  • You own your own performance and results, and hold your prospects and your teammates accountable for their commitments to you
  • You write and speak clearly, briefly, and professionally.
  • You have 3+ years of software sales experience
  • You have carried challenging sales quotas, and you have met or exceeded them.
  • You can travel 50% of the time to meet with customers, prospects and our team.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in something.
  • You are proficient at using – and willing to use – CRM software
