Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Access Control, this Enterprise Access Specialist - Access Control - acts as a primary contact for the VS&A VAM team's selling initiatives within the assigned territory. This specialist manages customer relationships and deploys sales strategies to grow business and meet revenue goals, working alongside the VS&A VAM team to drive access control revenue and serve as the internal 'go-to' expert in the marketplace.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  1. Maintain and grow an operational and security mindset regarding access control within enterprise accounts, collaborating effectively with sales professionals.
  2. Work with the VAM team and leadership to increase market share and revenue.
  3. Develop and nurture relationships within enterprise accounts relevant to security and access control, identifying opportunities for Motorola Solutions.
  4. Assist the account team in engaging key partners and end-users to generate revenue.
  5. Identify product gaps for Product Management to address for greater exposure and standardization.
  6. Manage resources such as demo equipment, marketing and travel budgets.
  7. Create standardized market presentations and sales tools for access control offerings.
  8. Gather and report competitive product and pricing data, maintaining knowledge of the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of experience in access control, with a focus on enterprise accounts preferred.
  2. Strong technical knowledge and ability to discuss our products and solutions.
  3. Proven success in results delivery and relationship development.
  4. Understanding of our go-to-market and sales strategies.
  5. Excellent time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  6. Willingness and ability to travel throughout North America as needed.
Territory:
  • Enterprise Access Specialist - Access Control - Education West covers enterprise accounts across the U.S.
  • Frequent travel (around 75%) is required.
Additional Information

Base salary range: $67,100 - $148,400. Compensation varies based on experience and skills. The actual offer will depend on the individual candidate.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of access control sales experience.
