Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a Nutritional Feeding Technician responsible for preparing and distributing enteral nutrition, including human milk and infant formulas. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and collaboration with medical teams. Ideal candidates should have strong math skills, customer service abilities, and a high school diploma, with an associate degree preferred. Full-time hours are primarily onsite, with weekend rotations expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience preferred.
• Nutrition and Dietetics technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, label, and distribute enteral nutrition per established guidelines.
• Manage storage, receipt, and disposal of human milk according to protocols.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in feeding preparation areas.
