Job summary

The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Otolaryngology (ENT) practice. This role supports an established ENT team and expands access to ENT services for patients of all ages.

The PA/NP will collaborate with an attending physician, providing direct care in the ambulatory ENT clinic with occasional inpatient or surgical first-assist duties. 1.0 FTE with Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; no call or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years full-time PA/NP practice experience.
• Master’s degree required; Doctorate preferred.
• Current VT APRN or VT PA licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in Ambulatory ENT clinic under attending physician supervision.
• Develop and implement direct care for all ages of patients; may assist in OR up to one day/week.
• No on-call shifts and no weekend requirements; schedule Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with potential adjustments.
