Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking an OR Service Assistant for the ENT department. The role involves assisting in transporting patients, setting up the Operating Room, and supporting surgeons with routine instrument handling.

The position supports a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift and offers opportunities to work within a world-class healthcare system. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; sterile processing certification and 2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Sterile processing certification preferred.
• Two years of experience in sterile processing preferred.
• Knowledge of service-specific surgical instruments, equipment and procedures preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain surgical instrument sets and equipment and ensure proper sterile conditions.
• Provide limited assistance to surgeons (holding limb/retractors, suctioning, sponging wound).
• Clean used instruments after surgery (assembly and maintenance for sterilization).
• Ensure sterile conditions, order supplies, stocks, and storage areas in the OR.
• Assist in transporting patients.
• Assist RN in maintaining a safe environment for the patient.

Formation

High school diploma or GED

Two years of experience in sterile processing

Sterile processing certification

Knowledge of service-specific surgical instruments
