Job summary

Harborview Medical Center's Otolaryngology Clinic is seeking a per-diem, temporary ARNP, Nurse Practitioner or PA-C for 80% FTE (32 hours/week) with day shifts in Seattle, WA.

The role involves patient histories, exams, perioperative care, and coordination with ENT and related services. Requires WA ARNP/PA licensure or PA license with NCCPA and BLS; hospital staff appointment eligibility is noted.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school.
• Washington State ARNP license with prescriptive privileges.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• BLS certification.
• WA Physician Assistant licensure with NCCPA certification.
• NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Records medical histories, perform physical examinations, order/interpret tests, diagnose and prescribe treatments.
• Perform postoperative wound care, scoping, incisions, drain abscesses and local anesthesia.
• Provide health education and assist with community resources; contribute to clinical training and continuing education.
• Support Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, Neurotology and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery faculty during visits; follow team guidelines.
• Provide perioperative care, postoperative care, consultation and follow-up.
• Coordinate care for Oral Maxillofacial and Otolaryngology patients throughout treatment.

Education

Master's Degree in nursing

Washington ARNP license with prescriptive privileges

National certification as a Nurse Practitioner

BLS certification

Physician Assistant license in WA

NCCPA certification
