Job summary

Harborview Medical Center’s Otolaryngology Clinic invites applications for a per-diem, temporary ARNP or PA-C to join our experienced team. The role offers 32 hours per week (80% FTE) on a day shift, with responsibilities spanning medical histories, exams, diagnostics, prescriptions, and perioperative care.

The position supports Audiology, Speech Pathology, and multidisciplinary surgeons, with opportunities for professional growth and involvement in teaching and clinical education within UW

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Washington State ARNP license with prescriptive privileges.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• BLS certification or PA-equivalent certification.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Record medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and establish diagnoses.
• Prescribe medications and treatments per scope.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care.
• Provide health education and refer to community resources.
• Coordinate perioperative and postoperative care across teams.
• Assist in clinical training and continuing education for staff.
