Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of the English language.
• HIPAA compliance required.
• Valid Medical Assistant or allied health certifications listed above.

Responsibilities

• Obtains, monitors, and records vital signs, patient history, and invasive procedures in the EHR.
• Fields patient phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Assists providers and clinical staff with examinations and procedures.
• Prepares patients for procedures, including venipunctures, injections, and IV therapy.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes to the provider.
• Maintains documentation and communicates the plan of care with providers.
• Ensures cleanliness, supplies, and functioning equipment in examination rooms; performs opening/closing duties.
• Models Just Culture principles and organizational values.
• Performs other duties as assigned; HIPAA compliant.
