The candidate will hold an active Florida LPN license or a Medical Assistant credential with relevant healthcare facility experience and be familiar with medical record documentation and standard procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program and hold an active Florida LPN license or an accredited Medical Assistant credential.
• LPN path: graduate from approved school and FL license as LPN.
• MA path: completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or recent MA work experience with certification within 90 days of employment and current BLS or completion within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic medical and nursing care and ensure patient comfort.
• Perform telephone triage to identify patient needs.
• Administer medications and document administration accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Recognize emergencies and respond promptly.
• Document information in patient records per policies.
• Assist physician with office procedures and coordinate patient flow.
• Support hospital procedures and scheduling as needed.
