Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ENT-Facial Plastics team. The role supports a range of ENT and facial plastic procedures, coordinates care from consultation through follow-up, and provides patient education.

The position requires an ADN, Texas RN licensure upon hire, and BLS. Preferred BSN and 1 year of clinical experience are encouraged. Strong teamwork and accurate EMR documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• ADN required from an approved nursing program.
• RN Licensure in Texas upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing interventions per medical plan of care.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and tests.
• Educate patients and document responses.
• Obtain required consents for treatment/research.
• Triage nurse inquiries per protocols.
• Supervise licensed vocational nurses and staff.
• Maintain proficiency in EMR documentation.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Ensure equipment safety and stock levels.
• Attend relevant clinical meetings.
