Position Type: Full-Time

Education Level: Associate Degree

Job Shift: 18:45 - 07:15

At Texas Institute for Surgery, exceptional patient care starts with exceptional people. As a physician‑owned specialty hospital, we are committed to creating an environment where nurses are valued, respected, and empowered to provide exceptional care. Our nurses benefit from outstanding nurse‑to‑patient ratios, typically ranging from 1:3 to 1:4, allowing them to spend more time where it matters most: with their patients.

The Staff RN is supported by a Patient Care Technician (PCT) who assists with patient care activities and contributes to efficient unit operations. A dedicated Charge Nurse is assigned without direct patient care responsibilities, providing real‑time clinical support, resource coordination, patient flow management, and assistance to nursing staff as needed throughout the shift.

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals undergoing elective orthopedic, spine, ENT, cosmetic, ophthalmology, urology, oral & maxillofacial, and other specialty surgical procedures, as well as patients undergoing medical detoxification.
