Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Fremont County, Wyoming, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ENT Clinic to provide professional nursing care in an outpatient setting in line with professional standards. The role supports a collaborative care model and contributes to the success of SageWest Medical Group.

The RN will use clinical judgment, participate in department and hospital goals, and engage in ongoing education and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Current Wyoming RN license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of age-specific growth and development and life stages.
• Current BLS on first day or to be assigned by Learning Center

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with standards.
• Promote collaborative, interdisciplinary patient-focused care.
• Make decisions based on knowledge and experience.
• Support department leadership in achieving mission, vision, and goals.
• Monitor HR processes and provide department orientation and training.
• Lead by example and ensure high standards within the department.
• Communicate department and hospital-wide issues to staff via multiple channels.
• Use performance improvement tools to identify and address patient care problems.
• Assist in annual department budgeting and strategic planning.
• Develop policies and procedures for department operations.
• Manage equipment and supplies to support patient care.
• Encourage participation in interdepartmental activities and committees.
• Evaluate timecards and departmental operations for adherence to goals.
