Job summary

MercyOne in Mason City, IA is hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) or Clinic LPN in the ENT Clinic. The role supports the clinical practice with patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic procedures. Schedule: 40 hours/week, day shift, M-F.

Requirements include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; MA Certification/Registration preferred and required within one year; completion of an accredited LPN program and Iowa LPN license.

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
• Must have completed accredited LPN program.
• LPN License in the state of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
• Prepare patients, collect vital signs, document, and perform basic clinical procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure a positive patient experience.
