Job summary

MercyOne in Mason City, IA is hiring a Medical Assistant (MA) or Clinic LPN for the Peri-Operative Clinic. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Day shift (M-F).

You will support the clinical practice and assist physicians with patient care, including patient preparation, vital signs, documentation, and basic procedures. The position requires completion of an accredited MA or LPN program; MA certification/registration is preferred prior to hire and required within one year, or equivalent LPN

Qualifications

• Must have completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• MA Certification/Registration preferred prior to hire and required within one year.
• Must have completed accredited LPN program.
• LPN License in the state of Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Supports the operation of the clinical practice by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks.
• Assists physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, documentation, and basic clinical procedures.
• Coordinates patient flow, maintains accurate medical records, and ensures a positive patient experience.
