Actalent is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for an ENT clinic in Norfolk, VA. The role provides comprehensive clinical and clerical support, including patient flow, in-office procedures, referrals, and orders, with travel to local clinics as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a CMA or RMA credential, BLS, and 6 months to 1 year MA experience, preferably with surgery scheduling exposure in a fast-paced specialty setting.

Qualifikationen

• CMA or RMA credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Surgery scheduler experience preferred; cross-training possible.

Aufgaben

• Manage clinic flow and patient movement through visits.
• Provide patient teaching and post-visit instructions.
• Process prescriptions and place referrals.
• Log lab and radiology orders for tracking.
• Coordinate surgery scheduling and pre/post instructions.
• Prepare patient records and assist with pre-op tasks.
• Support with clerical tasks and insurance documentation.
• Triage patients and record vital signs; maintain back-office workflow.
