Endicott College in Beverly, MA invites applications for an ensemble assistant supporting the Mainstage Theater production team. The role involves rehearsal support, administrative tasks, and coordinating with staff, director, and students to keep productions on schedule.

The ensemble assistant assists the Mainstage Theater production team in a variety of ways from rehearsal support to administrative assistance. In performance settings, the assistant leads by example, demonstrating strong, healthy technique and strong performance skills, as well as the ability to lead individual or small group coaching sessions. The assistant helps manage the tech team by organizing meetings and overseeing rehearsal reports and communications. They work with staff, the director, and students to accomplish a variety of administrative tasks that could include: box office assistance, contacting students, maintaining rosters, tracking costumes, maintaining equipment, setting up the lobby or theater space, writing program notes, publicity tasks including social media, planning events, and recruiting. The ensemble assistant could perform all or a subset of these duties, depending on the needs of the director and ensemble.
