Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations.
• Ability to build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate, timely manner.
• Active listening to identify immediate requests and member needs.
• Translate healthcare jargon into simple, step-by-step instructions.

Aufgaben

• Provides customer service to plan members via telephonic communication.
• Responds to incoming calls, answers enrollment related questions, resolves issues and educates callers.
• Verifies enrollment status, updates patient records.
• Addresses enrollment questions or concerns.
• Processes enrollment applications and plan changes.
• Reconciles beneficiary information with government systems (e.g., Marx, FLMMIS, MMR, DTRR, LEP).
• Processes return mail and research invalid addresses.
• Fulfills member materials, including beneficiary forms.
• Screens forms and data for paperwork from Sales.
• Documents inquiry outcomes for tracking and analysis.
• Maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with company functions to handle requests.
