Job summary

Hill Country Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Centers in Texas seeks an Enrollment Specialist to enroll individuals into TRR services, complete demographic and financial assessments, and conduct initial intake interviews. The role includes routine case management and coordinating with the Enrollment Coordinator to serve many clients daily.

The position requires crisis intervention certification within 120 days, a QMHP-CS credential or eligibility, and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social, behavioral, or human services.
  • QMHP-CS credential eligibility or credentialed status.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and auto insurance.
  • CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 3 months.
  • 3-5 years of outpatient mental health experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Enroll individuals into Texas Resilience and Recovery (TRR) services via intake.
  • Complete demographic and financial assessments and self‑reported screenings.
  • Conduct initial intake interview and provide routine case management.
  • Coordinate with Enrollment Coordinator and Team Lead to serve multiple clients daily.
  • Schedule psychiatric evaluations when needed and assign enrollees to practitioners.
  • Ensure 95% collaborative documentation within 24 hours of service delivery.
  • Refer not eligible individuals to other resources, including Substance Use Services.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and maintain crisis certification within 120 days.

Job description

The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for enrolling individualsinto Texas Resilience and Recovery (TRR) services. The enrollment processincludes completing a demographic and financial assessment, enteringself-administered screenings that are required by Texas Administrative Code,completing the initial intake interview. The enrollment specialist will alsoprovide an initial routine case management service to ensure connection withappropriate resources as quickly as possible. The Enrollment Specialist willcoordinate regularly with the Enrollment Coordinator and the Enrollment TeamLead in an effort to serve as many individuals requesting enrollment aspossible on a given day. This position will be required to be trained andcertified in crisis intervention. Office hours are M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, andextended hours one day a week; however, the position must have flexible hoursto accommodate individuals who cannot meet between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm whichmay include a weekend rotation. The position requires the ability to workautonomously with little supervision.

Youwill get to:
  • Completedemographic and financial assessments.
  • Complete entry ofself-reported screenings such as the PHQ-9
  • Complete theadministration of additional required screenings.
  • Coordinate withthe enrollment coordinator and enrollment team lead.
  • Provide RoutineCase Management Services
  • Achieves anaverage score of 85, with no one score below 75 on all documentation.
  • Collaborativelydevelop the initial Person-Centered Recovery Plans (PCRPs)
  • Schedule forupcoming appointments including the psychiatric evaluation where necessary.
  • Assign newenrollees to an attending practitioner.
  • Must providecollaborative documentation at least 95% of the time or no later than 24 hoursafter delivery of service.
  • Connect those whoare not eligible for TRR services to other appropriate resources including butnot limited to Substance Use Services.
  • Responsible forprovision of crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Must be crisiscertified within 120 days of employment.
You'lldefinitely need:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social, behavioral, or human services with the ability to be credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-CS)
  • Maintain valid Texas state Driver's License and auto insurance.
  • Complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within the first 3 months of employment
Preferred:
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a mental healthsetting providing Mental Health services in an outpatient setting.
