Job summary

Franklin Cummings Tech is seeking an Admissions Work Study to support outreach, data entry and event coordination for prospective students. The role reinforces strong communication and customer service, assisting counselors under team direction.

You will engage with applicants via phone, text, or email, invite them to apply, and help manage essential data in our admissions database while working on campus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student at Franklin Cummings Tech.
• GPA of 2.0 or above.
• Complete FAFSA cleanup year by year.
• Demonstrate financial need and interest in work-study.
• Enrolled enough credit hours to qualify for FAFSA.
• Comfortable speaking with prospective students via phone, text, or email.
• Able to work independently and manage time.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Familiar with databases, spreadsheets, and basic digital tools.
• Social media familiarity is a plus.
• Work a minimum of 1 day per week on-campus.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude to promote Franklin Cummings Tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach based on reports from the Senior Associate Director of Admissions.
• Answer questions about the admissions process.
• Invite prospective students to apply to the school.
• Enter essential test scores, health records and placement data in our database.
• Provide event support for Admissions events (Discovery Days, Enrollment Weeks, etc.).
• Support creative social media campaigns and routine website updates.
• Do other projects as needed.
