Job summary

Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS is seeking an Admissions Recruiter to engage prospective and concurrent enrollment students across the admissions funnel, build relationships with high schools, families, counselors, and community partners, and promote the college's programs and resources.

The role includes territory management, on-campus visits, off-campus events, and use of enrollment systems to support inquiry, application, and enrollment conversion, with a hybrid schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an associate degree with two years of directly related professional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
• Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.
• Must have physical ability to sit for extended periods while driving and be able to lift, carry, push, and pull event materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Represent the college at off-campus recruiting events, including high school visits and college/career fairs.
• Promote the features, benefits, and outcomes of academic programs to prospective students and families.
• Manage a recruitment territory through strategic outreach, travel, and relationship-building activities to support enrollment goals.
• Assist in planning and executing on-campus visits, presentations, and recruitment events.
• Engage prospective students throughout the admissions funnel via targeted outreach and relationship management.
