Job summary

Tidewater Community College in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Workforce Specialist (Front Desk) to support onboarding and enrollment for Workforce Solutions programs. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and operate the databases and payments workflows.

Responsibilities include data capture, researching program offerings, coordinating with staff, processing registrations, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students, faculty, employers, public, and other divisions within the college.
• Provide registration and enrollment support.
• Keep all required reports current and accurate.
• Coordinate with WFS staff on class additions, changes, and cancellations.
• Address customer service questions in person, over the telephone, and through email.
• Provide receptionist/clerical duties to maintain a professional front desk presence.
• Capture WFS data on outreach, student communications, and enrollment activity.
